It is important to distinguish a brand’s origin, the sheet’s manufacturing location and the local supplier. A worktop made in Lithuania does not necessarily use a sheet manufactured in Lithuania; an intermediary’s country is not the material’s country of origin.
Corian
A DuPont brand of US origin. Its US website states that 95% of standard-size sheets are made in Buffalo, but this should not automatically be assumed for every product supplied to Europe. The palette includes solid colours, granular patterns, marble-like veining and terrazzo-style designs. The Europe, Middle East and Africa palette is separate from the US palette, so use the regional catalogue.

HIMACS
A product of South Korea’s LX Hausys, manufactured in Korea and the US. Europe is served by distributors and the Quality Club network of certified fabricators. Colour options include the marble-inspired Aurora & Marmo range, Gravilla’s combination of veining and granularity, terrazzo and concrete-inspired designs, and the translucent Lucent collection.

Staron
A brand of South Korea’s LOTTE Chemical, not a current Samsung product. The manufacturer’s documents identify the Yeosu plant in South Korea as a production location; sales are organised through a regional network. Alongside basic colours, the range includes Tempest and the natural-stone-inspired Supreme collections. Availability of a specific design in Lithuania must be confirmed separately.

Grandex
A material manufactured by Lion ChemTech in South Korea. The brand’s history is linked to a partnership between the Korean manufacturer and Ukraine’s TransStone, while Architype participates in the European supply chain. Calling it simply “Polish stone” would be inaccurate. The palette includes Pure Color, granular designs and Marble Ocean veining, whose direction needs to be considered when planning joints.

Durat
A Finnish manufacturer. Durat states that products for the entire European market are made at its Naantali factory in Finland, while production in the US and China serves those respective markets. Its distinctive appearance combines background colours with recycled plastic inclusions, ranging from fine speckles to a large-scale terrazzo effect. It is a polyester-based solid surface.

Kerrock
A product of Slovenia’s Kolpa; its environmental declaration identifies a factory in Metlika, Slovenia. The palette includes solid colours, granite, terrazzo and marble effects, translucent Lumino and metallic designs. The manufacturer also offers custom RAL colour development, but the terms and lead time for an individual order need to be agreed separately.

Krion
A brand of Spain’s Porcelanosa Grupo, supported by the group’s sales and showroom network. A brand’s origin does not, by itself, confirm the manufacturing country of every sheet. The palette includes solid colours, terrazzo, veined Luxury designs and Light / Opale designs intended for lighting applications. Check translucency for the specific product code and thickness.

When choosing, examine a physical sample and a full-sheet image of the selected design. Confirm the availability of the specific colour, delivery lead time and project terms individually.
