At Akropole, Corian® Design was used for information stands, translucent directional signs, the information reception desk and elements within the public washrooms. A shared material approach connects objects with very different roles across this large commercial space.
The project shows solid surface working beyond the countertop: as part of wayfinding, reception furniture and the identity of a public interior. The illuminated signs were designed for this setting, bringing their function, form and lighting together.
